Principal's Message

Dear Beach Elementary Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to a new school year at Beach Elementary! Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are so glad to have you as part of our community.

This year, we will continue to deepen our commitment to student-centered, meaningful learning through our concept-based units of inquiry. These units are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and build a strong foundation of understanding across subject areas. We are also working to strengthen alignment across grade levels to ensure that every child’s learning experience builds intentionally year to year.

Community continues to be at the heart of everything we do. We will focus on creating classrooms where students feel safe, supported, and connected because we know that strong relationships and a sense of belonging are essential for academic and social growth. Through continued community-building efforts, we aim to foster spaces where all students are empowered to share their voices, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully to their learning environments.

A special part of what makes Beach Elementary so unique is the strong support and spirit of the Lummi Island community. Your involvement, whether through volunteer efforts, school events, or everyday connections, creates a deeply rooted sense of togetherness that enhances the educational experience for all our students.
